After interning in the Financial Services field for four summers, Grant began his career in May, 2009. Grant’s Finance Degree, from West Virginia University, compliments the series of credentials he also holds (Series 7 through LPL Financial and the series 66 registrations through LPL Financial and Stratos Wealth Partners and the Life, Accident and Health Insurance Licenses) that are required to pursue a career in Financial Planning.
In his first year in the business, Grant earned his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation, CRPC®. Since then, Grant has also earned his Accredited Investment Fiduciary, AIF®, designation. Also, the addition of his CFP® Designation is important to Clients utilizing the Practice’s advanced levels of Planning.
Grant is responsible for the coordination and installation of new 401(k) Qualified Plans for the Butson Financial Advisors, LLC Division of Stratos Wealth Partners. As part of the 401(k) services, Grant manages the 401(k) Participant education and communication programs. He works as part of the Stratos Team responsible for conducting the onsite Employee/Participant Enrollment and Educational meetings and seminars. A customized Financial Plan is always offered to every participant of a 401k for no fee.
The same level of service is also offered to anyone that either does not have a 401k or wishes to save for Retirement using other methods of saving. Since there is no minimum to get started, you know you will receive the same amount of service whether you have saved a healthy nest egg or are getting started for the first time.
Grant lives in the North Hills with his wife (Anna), identical twin girls (Nellie and Josie), and a loyal Beagle companion (Bella). Most weekends are usually spent either fishing, hiking, hunting, gardening, or running. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Grant loves cheering for the Steelers, Penguins, and WVU Mountaineers. If presented with the opportunity, Grant would love to visit his brother in Spain.
